Shawn Lixey is the Co-Founder, Vice President, and Chief Marketing Officer of EDGE Engineering and Science, LLC (EDGE). In this dual-leadership executive role, he drives the firm’s strategy for long-term sustainable growth while overseeing daily operations and organizational planning. Under his leadership, the firm has seen significant diversification of the client base, geographic expansion, addition of new service lines, and talent acquisition, establishing EDGE as a national brand.
Before serving as the CMO, Shawn served as the Director of the Natural Resources Sector at EDGE, where he built a reputation as a highly trusted technical advisor providing solutions to complex environmental issues for clients across the entire project lifecycle, from concept to operation, across the oil and gas, chemical, utility, and energy industries.
With more than 30 years of specialized experience, Shawn now sits at an intersection as both a technical expert and growth driver working to translate technical capabilities into scalable growth through strategic client engagement, building capabilities, brand messaging, and talent acquisition to accelerate revenue growth and elevate market presence.
Shawn holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science (with a concentration in toxicology) from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston.
